This week’s product of the week is the NEW Augusta dining and Occasional furniture range is made from eco-friendly Acacia wood; a genus of trees and shrubs found in Asia and Australia. Acacia is hardwood that is durable and water-resistant, so it is a great choice for dining tables. While mainly deep brown, the natural grain of Acacia wood shows off its distinctive colour palette with features a range of browns and pinks, making each piece unique. Acacia is sustainable as it is fast growing, so it is a great choice for furniture as it can be harvested and replanted and will have less impact on the environment than other slower growing woods.
The Augusta range comes with steel painted metal legs and handles giving it an industrial luxe look, currently very trendy in the interiors world. Available in this range is a 1580mm dining table, solid wood chairs, sideboards, coffee table, console table, end table, display cabinets and 2 & 3 door TV units. Perhaps the most intriguing piece in this range is the Augusta bookcase, featuring 9 differently shaped shelves reminiscent of the popular puzzle game Tetris.
While this range has its own chairs, it also goes perfectly with our Charlie and Tampa chairs.
